You know what else is great about the AEG airsoft M4? It's one of the only weapons in the airsoft canon that I would put right up there with the Kalashnikov, and my other top contenders for Best Airsoft Weapon. That's how much I respect it.
When you're out on the airsoft battlefield, you want the most powerful weapon you can possibly have. You want something that can plug an opponent at a significant distance. To do that, you need power, which the AEG Airsoft M4 has in spades.

Just as its always a good idea to bring lots of ammo for your AEG airsoft M4, you also want to bring a couple of those nickel cadium 8.4 V1800 batteries. These are great, because they can be quickly changed and quickly charged (but it's best to do your charging at home).
Bottom line: there are only a handful of weapons that I feel completely comfortable with in combat. The AEG airsoft M4 goes on the short list of favorite fighting firearms. I've said it before, and shouldn't have to say it again: these things are great.
