Airsoft carbines are ready when you are: they are first-rate replicas of the carbine rifles that are so popular in military use. Several manufacturers have jumped into the game; but, as usual, there are a handful of standouts.
Carbines are defined by their relatively short barrels, giving extreme power but not an astonishing range. Most now operate as semi-automatics. Airsoft Carbines replicate both their assets and weaknesses.
Quality Airsoft Carbines
The M4 is a classic. So is the weapon that followed it, the M4A1. These tend to be the Airsoft carbines of choice.
Tokyo Marui has been the standard provider. Now Classic Army's ArmaLite division appears to be giving it a run for its money. This is a contest you may have to play out for yourself.
