The airsoft electric MAC10 is right there in the same category of "cheap electric airsoft guns" as the mini Uzi and MP5. The common understanding amongst true airsoft enthusiasts is that you can't even call these things real AEG's.
In fact, most of the people I know who actually own an Airsoft Electric MAC10 advised me strenuously against buying them. I don't know what they thought they were getting, but they probably should have looked into it more deeply before going ahead. The truth seemed self-evident.
Poor Old Airsoft Electric MAC10
Please allow me to stress that airsoft enthusiasts are generally drawn to realism in their weaponry. They want the look and feel of a real weapon (or as close as they can get), to create the illusion of real combat action. It's the draw of the game.
You're not going to get that with the airsoft electric MAC10. You're not even really going to get close. What you get is a plastic toy that spits out BB's at a fairly rapid clip, but not very fast, and not very far. They also have a bad habit of not lasting real long (the curse of the cheaply-made airsoft incarnate).
