Airsoft gas guns aren't as scary as they sound. They don't spray lethal gas at your adversary. Instead, they spray 'em with a hail of non-lethal BBs, powered by compressed gasses (mostly eco-friendly freon, Green Gas, or C02).
Although they tend to be handguns (and phenomenal handguns, at that), certain smaller rifles and submachine guns also run on gas power. Again, most are semi or full automatic. They also tend to be significantly cheaper than their electric counterparts.
Blockback With Airsoft Gas Guns
One thing many shooters love is the blowback feature on many Airsoft gas guns. This allocates a certain amount of gas power to recreating the "recoil" effect of an actual firearm. The result is an incredibly realistic feel when firing.
