While on the subject of the airsoft gas revolver, I find myself thinking once again about the most excellent Desert Eagle. This is a clear case of the gas powered version whapping the tar out of the AEG version. (Many people, myself included, don't believe that electric handguns that run on AA or AAA batteries should really be considered AEGs.)
To press this point, I'll go back to the Uzi, which is not technically a revolver, but is a rapid-firing machine handgun. Once again, the Airsoft Gas Revolver made to resemble the classic Uzi is substantially better than the "AEG". I could give a couple of more examples, but I think I've made my point.
Make Mine an Airsoft Gas Revolver!
An airsoft gas revolver with the blowback built in feels more like a real gun than those little electric doodads. It's got the kick that makes it real in your mind, and it's got firepower that makes those Energizers sleepy. Fact is, even a first rate spring revolver feels more authentic than that.
In conclusion, airsoft gas revolvers are A#1. Spring powered revolvers come in a strong but significant second; and finally, when all the chips are tallied, electric handguns trail tragically behind. Not everyone will agree with this assessment, but I don't care. I've said it, and I'm proud.
