I've searched high and low for a great airsoft gas sniper rifle, and I'm forced to admit: I haven't found one yet. The closest thing I've found is the MP5, which weirdly found its Maruchin version marketed as a rifle. But it's not. It's a machine gun.
So that leaves me with nothing to talk about, except: the world needs a great Airsoft Gas Sniper Rifle. Something with a nice long barrel to sight down, and serious power, would be ideal. The kick from the blowback would make the experience complete.
Where's My Airsoft Gas Sniper Rifle?
Clearly, I am not alone in this desire. I just read an article about a guy who actually converted his RPAK-5 (a real assault rifle, and close cousin of the AK47) into an airsoft gas sniper rifle. He said it took him twenty hours, and a number of custom-made pieces.
A man who's willing to go to such lengths just demonstrates the need. When will someone design us a truly great airsoft gas sniper rifle? It's a great idea that's just waiting to be plucked off the vine. For the life of me, I can't imagine why there aren't dozens already.
