Being a sniper, after all, is the most focused and deliberate role that an airsoft player can assume. After all that waiting, and zeroing in, you want to at least feel the recoil at the end.

You have to be able to trust your weapon; and believe me, there are plenty of gas powered rifles that will fit the bill.

The M24 is a fine example of an Airsoft Gas Sniper Rifle, in that it meets all the criteria one would hope for. It shoots hard; it shoots far; in the right hands (and with the right set of eyes), it's deadly accurate. If I had to pick one right this second, the M24 would be the airsoft gas sniper rifle I'd choose.
But don't just take my word for it. My advice here, and throughout this site, will always be to comparison-shop. Look at what's out there. Look at the fps (feet per second) rating. Look at the accuracy of the weapon in question, based on the experience of people who've used it. That's where informed choices come from.
