One of the most remarkable items described on this site is the airsoft long barrel revolver, or Trigun replica. This stunning little number is based on the weapon carried by a Japanese anime character by the name of Vash the Stampede; and, friends, it is a doozy.
The Airsoft Long Barrel Revolver is basically a double barreled handgun, with the barrels stacked one atop the other, as opposed to side-by-side (as in a double-barreled shotgun). In theory, you can fire one or both barrels at once. But with the replicas we've seen, unless you undergo massive modifications, there is no firing at all.
Vash the Stampede's Airsoft Long Barrel Revolver
This extremely cool looking gun is, unfortunately, just for looking at. The only versions that actually fire have been assembled by rabid Manga/Airsoft enthusiasts by using the parts from dead Tanaka M29's, in a total Frankenstein move. They are awesome, but you won't find them in any store, online or otherwise.
But if you want a airsoft long barrel revolver Trigun replica of Vash the Stampede's insanely cool handgun, you'll have to ask the Japanese. There are three models that we are aware of, and I'm guessing that there are more to come. You owe it to yourself to take a look at these incredible weapons.
