Check out the Airsoft P99. I think you'll like it. It's a solid little pistol (actually, not so little) that really delivers the goods.
Modeled after the Walther P99, this baby has a mighty nice bang. Easy to cock, easy to load, it's great for close combat. It also has the James Bond pedigree behind it, and you can't argue with that.
The Gun That Loved You: Airsoft P99
The Y&P model Airsoft P99 has a clear body, and a clear clip to match. So you can see how many rounds you have left, which is a cool feature. (Even though it only takes 13 shots per clip.)
But if you want to move from spring to gas, take a look at the KWC with gas blowback. This is an imposing black, hyper-realistic design; and when it fires, that realism extends to the kick in your hand. These two represent the low and high ends of the Airsoft P99.
