UHC is making great claims for its airsoft spring MP5, and they may just be onto something here. Firing at 315 fps (feet per second) with a range maxing out at 160 feet, this little puppy has some muscle to speak of. It's one of the most powerful spring "rifles" on the market.
It's also a full-sized beauty, with a six and a half inch silencer assembly hooked onto the barrel. In other words, it adds that much length to the barrel, which also adds considerable accuracy and power to each shot. (I mention "each shot" specifically, for the following reason.)
The Airsoft Spring MP5: Not a Machine Gun
Ordinarily, the MP5 is a classic submachine gun: fully automatic, compact and ready to blow holes through whatever's in its path. The airsoft spring MP5 is a whole other story. Why? Because it's a single-shot instrument, which has to be cocked every time you're about to pull the trigger.
So it's not a submachine gun. It's not really an MP5, except in terms of look. But it fires beautifully, with a lot of power, and it looks cool, and it's only $60! Plus, the mere sight of it might convince your enemy that you're more heavily armed than you actually are. Psych! (Hey! Whatever works!)
