When you talk about an airsoft spring Uzi, you're probably talking about the Micro Uzi airsoft gun with folding stock. I've been seeing this little unit pop up all over the Internet, but I have yet to determine who actually manufactures this thing. I will say that it looks pretty cool in the pictures.
All the same, I have a pretty good idea of what we're actually discussing here. This Airsoft Spring Uzi is an entry-level weapon: essentially a toy, relatively inexpensive ($45) and neat-looking, to give to your kids as their introduction to the wonderful world of airsoft target shooting and combat.
Airsoft Spring Uzi: You Know, For Kids!
The Micro Uzi is a machine pistol that does what all spring powered replicas of automatic fire weapons do. That is, it doesn't deliver on the automatic fire. Therefore, it's like a replica of a replica. One more (de)generation down the line, and you've got a gun that you just hang on your wall, because it doesn't even fire at all.
That being said: if I were a kid, and somebody gave me an airsoft spring Uzi, I would feel like the baddest kid in the world. I would squeeze that trigger so fast that you wouldn't know I wasn't on semi-automatic. If I were a kid with an airsoft spring Uzi, I would feel like a king.
