BB grenades explode with nonlethal force, delivering a cascade of tiny projectiles in every direction. Much like real grenades, however, when handled without caution, BB grenades can cause injury. Is there any difference between so-called high-grade BB's--the all-white units which weigh .2g and up--and cheaper units? BB's are generally sold in packs of 8000, each of which weighs approximately 1 kg. Some of the more popular brands include HFC, UHC, and CyberGun. Two elite BB making companies--Excel and TM--have weathered competition from cheaper competitors.
We recommend that you test out a large number of BB's in an open area to determine your favorites. Purchase small packs of a number of brands and take notes as to which ones work best with your gun. You can also consult the manufacturer or sales associate as to the most popular matches.
