Cheap Airsoft guns are great to have. That's mainly because they don't cost very much. You can get a lot of bang for very few bucks, if you do your shopping wisely.
Clearly, when you're on a budget, spring-powered weapons are the way to go. They are reliable, reasonably powerful, and spend less down time than their gas and electric compatriots. They also cost a lot less than the gas or electric version of the same model weapon.
Cheap Airsoft Guns: More Bang, Fewer Bucks
For example, there's no denying that the gas powered blowback version of the Desert Eagle is one mighty fine handgun. However, for roughly half the price, you can get a spring-loaded version that is quite nearly as formidable. In this case, cheap Airsoft guns make a lot of sense.
Of course, cheap Airsoft guns can only take you so far. There's also the fact that cheap knock-offs of first-rate manufacturers like Tokyo Marui may cost less, but are not nearly as good. $200 for a lousy AEG is not a bargain, no matter how you slice it.
