Cheap BB Guns can easily break or malfunction during target practice or tournament play. Therefore, we urge you to eschew cheap BB guns in favor of the more celebrated brands. The Airsoft BB guns are significantly safer than their metal-bearing counterparts.
Notwithstanding, we urge any and all who use Airsoft weapons to don full protective gear. This gear includes face masks, chest protection, and--of course--eye protection. A full uniform of safety gear will cost you under $100--far less than a single emergency visit to an optometrist!

Comparing makes and models of BB guns sheds light on the phenomenon of Airsoft. The Infinity SV Prokiller and SR-16 with super high-speed gears both performed marvelously in tests. The BB's that were the most meticulously calibrated unsurprisingly scored best on accuracy tests.
Most manufacturers market BB's in packages of 8000 .12g units--or 1 kg. Before you rush out and stock your armament with a single make of BB, however, take a day to test out the major brands. You never know what's best for your particular weapon until you start firing, my friend!
