Traveling with your AEG requires some foresight. Despite the orange warning tip, many security personnel will view your weapon as a potential threat. Most travel experts recommend that you pack your weapons in your luggage and that you declare your toy gun in advance so don't run into any problems with security.
Furthermore, take care that you unload your weapons before transporting them for long distances. Although most BBs are manufactured sturdily, some paintball munitions will leak if left out in abrasive conditions. You don't want exploded paint munitions to dry in the barrel of your gun and reduce shooting efficiency, so do a last-minute equipment scan before shelving your weapons.
