This is probably the first and last time you'll hear me say this, but here goes: the electric airsoft Desert Eagle is not the Desert Eagle of choice. This is the same kind of cheap faux-AEG that I've spent the last couple of pages on; and I rate it exactly as highly.
The fact is, you get a much better deal on the spring or gas powered models of the Desert Eagle than you do with this thing. It's a beauty, for sure, but I just like the design. In terms of bang for buck, this is the low man on my airsoft Desert Eagle totem pole.
The Electric Airsoft Desert Eagle
Believe me, I'm not saying that the electric airsoft Desert Eagle is a bad thing. Accuracy is good, and you know what a big fan of blowback action I am. It's lightweight, has nice semi-auto action, and can actually accommodate paintballs, as well.
But the muzzle velocity on the electric airsoft Desert Eagle is an underwhelming 105 fps (feet per second). I can practically run that fast. If you ask me, you're better off getting the spring version of the Desert Eagle at roughly half the price. But that's just me.
