Have you noticed how many military Airsoft guns there are? I'd venture to say that four out of five are military makes. Of course, many of these same weapons are used by law enforcement officials, as well.
Why do you think that is? I have a couple of theories. The first, and most obvious one, is that lots of Airsoft players are either cops or military men; they're playing with guns they are already familiar with.

But what about the rest of the people buying military Airsoft guns? Do they all want to be cops or soldiers? I'd say that the answer is a resounding yes!
Either that or they long to be rogues or scallywags, which is also fun. (You've got to have good guys and bad guys, if the game's going to be any good at all.) Hence the popularity of military Airsoft guns: a trend I don't see vanishing any time soon.
