quality information on Airsoft BB Guns and Gear

Pellet rifles discharge their ammunition at rates that range from 100 feet per second to over 350 fps. Although many Airsoft pellet rifles are spring loaded, semi automatic and automatic AEGs are available for more money. It all depends on how you want to play Airsoft. If you're a hobbyist gun collector, or if you simply enjoy shooting off a bunch of rounds at target practice, I say go for the spring loaded or gas powered Airsoft pellet rifles.

On the other hand, if you want to get down and dirty on the range, or if you have any interest in playing in Airsoft league skirmishes, go with an automatic electric gun. Be forewarned, however, once you pick up an AEG, you may not want to go back to a spring loaded or gas powered option. So before spending hundreds of dollars on an automatic, it might be useful to train yourself on one of the less expensive standard models--just to test out.

Choosing among Awesome Pellet Rifles
I recommend the Desert Eagle or the UHC MP5 spring loadeds. Both weapons work well in a number of climatic and battle field conditions. As well, training on the MP5 allows you to advance easily to the next stage. The Maruzen MP5K gas blow back rifle, compatible with the 134A HFC, is a great follow up piece.

The Maruzen shoots with a velocity of 300 feet per second and gets off 20 rounds per second. Even though it only stores 50 rounds at a time, the Maruzen MP5K reloads lightning quickly. As well, you can easily store additional pellets in your 20 inch rifle bag. The major challenge with this gas gun is to keep an eye on your gas canisters to ensure enough fuel for your mission.
