The SIG 555 spring Airsoft rifle is another one of those guns that you just have to love. It's a beautiful replica of a beautiful gun, one of my favorite assault rifles from a visual standpoint. It's not bad in the hand, either.
If I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times: because it's spring powered, it will never deliver the full auto action its design would seem to promise. It won't because it can't. But that doesn't mean it won't deliver on its own terms.
The SIG 555 Spring Airsoft is a Beauty
Frankly, I haven't seen a gas or electric version of this particular rifle. That doesn't mean there isn't one; I just haven't seen it. So maybe, in terms of Airsoft, this is as good as it gets.
But the SIG 555 spring Airsoft does have a few things to recommend it besides its beauty. It fires well, with reasonable power, and it comes with three magazines (a courtesy that could be extended more often). The SIG 555 spring Airsoft will do right by you, if you don't expect too much.
