Softair guns are increasingly popular both on the range and in the tournament halls. One of my favorite softair guns is the Kalashnikov AK-47 Airsoft spring rifle. As you well know, the Kalashnikov stands out as a rifle among rifles. Notorious during the Cold War era, the Kalashnikov AK-47 became the weapon of choice for a number of insurgent movements across Asia and the Middle East.
You can play with a highly realistic replica of this historical piece today. I have to admit that the AK-47 Kalashnikov is one of my favorite Softair Guns. It comes with a sling, employs hop up technology, and blasts off 6mm ammunition at clip of 280 fps. In addition to these impressive statistics, the softair Kalashnikov has a huge range. You can tackle targets up to 160 feet away with this bad boy.
Playing Rough with Softair Guns
That said, the AK-47 Kalashnikov is one of the more expensive spring rifles. If you're looking to compete in Airsoft skirmishes, you may want to leap to the next price bracket and buy an AEG. An automatic electric gun will let loose a scattershot round of BBs at the touch of a trigger. As much I love the spring loaded Kalashnikov, you won't stand much of a chance against automatic firepower in an even tournament setting.
Protecting yourself against hurtling 6mm BBs may sound like an easy task. However, just because Airsoft munitions are specifically designed to prevent injury doesn't mean that they can hurt you. Where eye and face protection whenever playing rough with your AK-47 Kalashnikov. You should avoid sitting or standing in the same position for too long so you don't come down with a repetitive stress injury.
