Toy army guns have gotten a lot of flack from anti-gun activists. They believe that children should not be trained to shoot at other people. While they certainly have a point, they are missing an obvious fact.
Kids don't want to play army because of Toy Army Guns. If the guns didn't exist, they would pick up a stick, aim it at their friend, and go, "Bang! Bang! You're dead!" That's how it has always been.
The Case for Toy Army Guns
Now, one might argue that the sticks are better. They are certainly cheaper, since they fall off of trees. They are also almost 50 times more likely to poke some little youngster's eyes out.
Toy army guns are designed to be played with by children. They also happen to be all kinds of fun. So let the kids have their dang toy army guns, already! Jeez!
